With these monotypes, I explore the way bodies move, look, and feel, in light and darkness.
The first three monotypes are fairly representational nudes done on black paper with white ink and small, but important traces of color.
The other three are more gestural and border on the abstract. These monotypes are done by first rolling out a field of black ink on the plate, and then subtracting or erasing the areas to be printed before running it through the press to print on white paper.
